Day two started off with a dilemma about the garage....the roof is gone and the footers are rotted to disintegration, as well as the bottoms of the 2 X 4's....this is "the garage that Michael rebuilt"... he did such a beautiful job...he had to use his car jack to raise the corner 2 1/2 inches to fit another footer in....we're talking major work here!!!

After all that, he finally got the new footer in place....;-)

Then started on the roof....ugh!

Sometimes it's better to just not ask questions....lol

Day Three began about 1:00PM (after work)...Michael got the roof finished in-between showing his brother, Ken, one of our electricians, through the house to see what work needed to be done. He ended up racing daylight to get the roof covered as rain is expected this afternoon.

Michael wins the "Gutsy Remodeler of the Year Award" for sitting on the roof...IN THE DARK...and hammering on the SOLID BLACK roofing paper with BLACK nails and a BLACK hammer and only hitting his fingers twice. What a man!!!! ;-)
