The making of the cake....

I've made wedding cakes for over 20 years and really wanted to do ours...

Chana, Bridget and Branden filling all the little gift bags

with gravel to hold down the 150 helium balloons....lol...

Bosco wanted to help too!!

Finally the cake is done....Alysia, my granddaughter helped me ALOT!

We think it's beautiful....:-)

We just love this grand old tree in our back yard....:-)

No one really knows how old it is,

but everyone tells us that it's probably well over 75 years old. 

I couldn't have done it without Chana's help....what a great friend!!!

Michael spent the entire week building tables and "tweaking" the backyard

to make it nicer for the wedding....he's so creative!!

We decided to take a break....about 3:00

Then it was time to start filling the balloons....

my dad and stepmother showed up to help out.

Pretty soon there were balloons EVERYWHERE!!

My stepmom was such a terrific help!!!  Thanks Ga Ga!!!   ;-)

I couldn't have done it without my sister too...she helped decorate the rose trellis, she laced the baby's breathe throughout my hair and brought me "something borrowed and something blue"....my something blue was one of Matthew's handkerchiefs. :-)  I'm smiling now, but it brought tears when she gave it to me.

Bosco got to wear a tuxedo!  lol

Finally we get started....
